Macronimous is a ReactJS development company in India that works as a remote engineering team for digital agencies and product companies in the US, UK, and Australia. Our developers build new React and Next.js applications, maintain and extend existing ones, and integrate APIs, MCP servers, and headless front ends. Rates start at USD 22 to 25 per hour, with a paid 2-week trial before any monthly commitment. Our engineers work with agentic coding tools and review every line the tools produce. Serving clients since 2002.

What we do with React

Three kinds of work, in the order clients most often bring them to us. Each is handled by developers who do that job every week, not by a general team that picks React up on demand.

1. Build a new React or Next.js application

SaaS dashboards, customer portals, internal tools, booking and quoting systems, marketplaces. We build in TypeScript by default, on Next.js when the app needs server rendering and on Vite when it does not. The API behind it is Node.js, Laravel, or whatever backend your team already runs. You get a proposed architecture and a fixed quote before work starts, and the app ships with tests, CI, and documentation, not just a working demo.

2. Maintain and enhance an existing React app

The app was built by a previous vendor, an internal team that moved on, or an AI tool that produced something that works until it doesn’t. You need someone to own it. A dedicated developer or an hourly retainer covers feature work on a live codebase, React and Next.js version upgrades (including Pages Router to App Router and class-to-hooks migrations that stall internal teams), dependency and security updates with regression tests run before every merge, Core Web Vitals work, and bug fixing with a response window written into the contract.

3. Integrate: APIs, MCP servers, and headless front ends

React apps rarely live alone. We connect them to payment gateways, CRMs, ERPs, and third-party REST and GraphQL APIs. We build MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers so AI assistants and agents can use your product’s data. And we build React front ends on top of the platforms you already run: React storefronts for Magento and Adobe Commerce, WordPress-to-headless React migrations, and React front ends on Shopify’s Storefront API. When the web app needs an iOS or Android companion, we build it in React Native with Expo, sharing the API layer and business logic.

Why hire a React team in India instead of a freelancer or an in-house developer

What matters to you
Macronimous React Team
Freelance marketplace or in-house hire
Cost
USD 22 to 25 per hour. Dedicated full-time developers quoted on request
US or UK in-house React engineer: USD 120,000 or more per year plus recruiting time. Freelancers: cheaper per hour, expensive per mistake
Trial before commitment
Paid 2-week trial: 80 hours at USD 20 per hour on real tasks from your backlog
Full rate from day one, or a coding test that tells you nothing about how they work
Code review
Every pull request is reviewed by an engineer who did not write it, whether a human or an AI agent produced the first draft
Usually none. Code merges on the author’s say-so
AI coding readiness
Developers work in Claude Code and OpenAI Codex daily, with a written policy on which tools may access your repository
Unknown. Many freelancers paste your code into whichever free tool they have open
Continuity
No-questions-asked developer replacement within 5 to 7 business days. Knowledge stays with the team
If the freelancer leaves, the knowledge leaves. If the employee leaves, you recruit again
IP and source code
Mutual NDA before the first commit. Work happens in your Git repository. 100 percent IP transfer written into the contract
Platform terms vary. Retention risk if the relationship ends badly

How our React developers work in 2026

Our developers use agentic coding tools, specifically Claude Code and OpenAI Codex, on every React project. The first draft of most components, tests, and migration scripts now comes out of an agent. We say this plainly because you will hear vague claims about “AI-powered development” from every agency, and you deserve to know what actually happens to your code.

  • The engineer owns the plan. Before an agent touches the codebase, a senior developer writes the task breakdown: which components change, which API contracts are affected, which tests must pass. The agent receives a spec, not a wish.
  • The agent writes the first draft. Components, hooks, TypeScript types, unit tests, Storybook stories. This is where the speed comes from. A feature that took two days of typing in 2023 now takes an afternoon.
  • The engineer reviews every line. Agents are confident and frequently wrong about state management, race conditions in data fetching, accessibility, and anything touching authentication. A human reads the diff, runs the app, and fixes what the agent got wrong.
  • A second engineer reviews the pull request. Nothing merges on the author’s say-so, human or AI.
  • Your code stays yours. We use paid tool accounts with training opt-out enabled, and we agree in writing which tools may access which repository. Our FAQ explains whether client source code goes to third-party AI tools, and it’s worth reading before you sign with anyone.

The result is a developer who is roughly twice as productive as in 2023 at the same hourly rate. The judgment, the review, and the accountability are still human. That is what you are paying for.

AI-generated code review for React apps

A growing share of the React apps we are asked to take over were built with Lovable, Bolt, v0, Cursor, or Codex by a founder or a small team without a senior engineer in the loop. They work in a demo. They are rarely ready for real users, real money, or a due diligence review.

Independent testing bears this out. Veracode’s 2026 GenAI Code Security Report found that roughly 44 percent of AI code generation tasks produced code with a known security vulnerability, and that pass rate has not improved in two years even as syntax accuracy approached 100 percent. Code that compiles and looks clean can still ship an exploitable weakness.

Our AI-generated code review is a fixed-scope engagement where a senior React engineer reads your repository and delivers a written risk report covering:

  • Authentication and authorization paths, including what happens when a session expires or a role changes
  • Data handling: validation, injection exposure, secrets in the codebase, credentials in client bundles
  • State management and data-fetching patterns that break under concurrent users
  • Dependency risk: outdated packages, abandoned libraries, license conflicts
  • Test coverage, or the lack of it, and what a minimum safe suite would look like
  • Performance: bundle size, Core Web Vitals, server versus client rendering decisions
  • A prioritized fix list, split into “before launch,” “within 30 days,” and “when convenient”

We bill the review at our standard hourly rate and scope it after we review the repository. If you have us fix what we find, we credit the review hours against the remediation work. Most apps do not need a rewrite. They need an engineer to look.

Have an AI-built React app you are not sure about?

Send the repository link. You get a scope and a quote for the review within 2 business days, and a written risk report you can act on.

Hire React developers in India: engagement options and pricing

Two ways to work with us. Hourly at USD 22 to 25 per hour for retainers, maintenance, code reviews, and scoped work, billed monthly on hours used. Or a full-time dedicated developer (160 hours a month) who works as part of your team; dedicated rates depend on seniority and are quoted on request. We also offer fixed-price quotes for defined builds.

Every engagement, hourly or dedicated, includes a project manager for coordination and reporting, direct access to the developer in your Slack, Jira, Teams, or Linear, and a monthly summary of hours and work completed.

Paid 2-week trial

80 hours at USD 20 per hour flat on real tasks from your backlog. You judge the code, the communication, and the review process before any monthly contract.

Minimum term

Dedicated developers: 3 months minimum, then 30 days’ written notice from either side. Hourly retainers: no minimum term.

Working hours

IST hours overlapping with the UK and EU, up to about 6 PM IST (1:30 PM BST). US East Coast clients get roughly 4 hours of morning overlap and async handoffs after that. No night shifts.

NDA and IP transfer

Mutual NDA before the first commit. All code, including AI-assisted code, is yours. Work happens in your Git repository under your access controls from day one.

Developer replacement

If the fit is wrong, we replace the developer within 5 to 7 business days. No reason required, no billing gap on your side.

White-label for agencies

We deliver most of our React work under our partner agencies’ brands. We don’t contact your clients, and we don’t take them on independently. See our white-label web development page.

How a React engagement starts

Day 0. Send the scope. A repository link, a Figma file, a spec, or a paragraph describing the problem. Any of these is enough.

Days 1 to 3. Review. For existing apps, a senior engineer reads the repository and sends a short written assessment. For new builds, you get a proposed architecture and a fixed quote. For dedicated hires, you receive 2 to 3 developer CVs.

Days 3 to 5. Interview. You talk to the developer directly. Live coding, architecture discussion, or a walkthrough of past work- your choice.

Days 5 to 7. NDA and contract. IP clause, working hours, AI tooling policy, and cancellation terms in writing.

Weeks 2 to 3. Paid trial, if you want one. 80 hours at USD 20 per hour on real backlog items.

Week 4 onward. Full engagement. Sprint cadence set, CI connected, monthly reporting starts.

The React stack we ship

React 19 and Next.js 15 with the App Router and server components. TypeScript on every project. Vite for client-only apps. TanStack Query for server state, Zustand or Redux Toolkit for client state. Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui, or your existing design system. Vitest and React Testing Library for unit tests, Playwright for end-to-end. React Native with Expo for mobile. Node.js, Laravel, or your current backend for the API. If your app is on an older stack (class components, Create React App, Redux with thunks), migration is one of the jobs we are hired for most often.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to hire a ReactJS development company in India?

At Macronimous, we bill React development at USD 22 to 25 per hour for retainers, maintenance, code reviews, and scoped work. We quote full-time dedicated developers (160 hours a month) on request, based on seniority. We offer fixed-price quotes for defined builds. A paid 2-week trial at USD 20 per hour for 80 hours lets you evaluate the developer before committing to a monthly engagement. For comparison, a single in-house React engineer in the US costs USD 120,000 or more per year before benefits and recruiting time.

Do your React developers use AI coding tools?

Yes. Our developers use Claude Code and OpenAI Codex on every project to write first drafts of components, tests, and migrations. We do not merge unreviewed agent output. A senior engineer writes the task spec, reviews every line the agent produces, and a second engineer reviews the pull request. We use paid tool accounts with training opt-out enabled and agree in writing which tools may access your repository. Our FAQ explains in more detail how our developers use AI coding assistants.

If AI writes the code, why should I hire developers at all?

Because the agent is the fast part, not the hard part. Turning a business requirement into a spec an agent can act on, catching the state-management bug the agent introduced, keeping the test suite honest, upgrading React and Next.js without breaking production, and being available when something fails all still need an experienced engineer. Independent testing shows nearly half of AI-generated code contains a known security vulnerability when nobody reviews it. Agentic tools make a good React developer roughly twice as productive. They don’t replace the developer, and they don’t maintain your app after launch.

Can you review or take over a React app built with Lovable, Bolt, Cursor, or Codex?

Yes, and this is a growing share of our work. We start with an AI-generated code review: a senior engineer reads the repository and delivers a written risk report covering authentication, data handling, state management, dependencies, test coverage, and performance, with fixes prioritized by urgency. We bill the review at our standard hourly rate and credit it against remediation if you have us do the fixes. Most AI-built apps do not need a rewrite. They need someone who knows where to look to find and fix specific problems.

Who owns the code, including the AI-assisted parts?

You do, 100 percent. The engagement contract includes a written IP transfer clause covering all source code, components, tests, design files, and infrastructure configuration, whether a human or an AI agent wrote the first draft. Work happens in your Git repository from day one, so there is nothing to hand over at the end. Our FAQ covers who owns AI-assisted code and why we take that position.

Do your developers work US hours?

Our developers work IST hours overlapping with the UK and EU, up to about 6 PM IST (1:30 PM BST, 8:30 AM EDT). US East Coast clients get roughly 4 hours of live overlap in their morning and async handoffs via Slack, Loom, and Jira for the rest of the day. We do not run night shifts. Most of our US clients find that a reliable morning overlap plus clear async communication works better than a developer on a reversed schedule who burns out within six months.

Can you build MCP servers and AI integrations for a React app?

Yes. We build MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers that expose your product’s data and actions to AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT, and we integrate LLM features (search, summarization, chat, document processing) into React front ends with the API and rate-limit handling done properly. This sits alongside our conventional integration work: payment gateways, CRMs, ERPs, and third-party REST and GraphQL APIs.

Do you build React Native apps as well?

Yes. When a web app needs an iOS or Android companion, we build it in React Native with Expo, sharing the API layer and much of the business logic with the web app. We do not build native Swift or Kotlin apps. If your project needs that, we will say so at the review stage rather than force React Native on it.

Send us your repository or your spec.

You get a written assessment and a quote or developer CVs within 3 business days. Same-day response during UK and EU hours.
